Prophet Muhammad said:
لَتُفْتَحَنَّ الْقُسْطَنْطِينِيَّةُ، فَلَنِعْمَ الأَمِيرُ أَمِيرُهَا، وَلَنِعْمَ الْجَيْشُ ذَلِكَ الْجَيْشُ أخرجه الإمام أحمد في مسنده وصححه الحاكم والذهبي، وضعفه ابن حجر والألباني وشعيب الأرنؤوط
Verily, Constantinople shall be conquered. What a wonderful leader its leader shall be, and what a wonderful army that army shall be.
Narrated in Musnad Ahmad. Graded sahih by Al-Hakim and Al-Dhahabi; graded da’if by Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, Al-Albani, and Shu’ayb al-Arna’ut.
