Migration to Madinah (622 CE)

In 622 CE, the Prophet migrated to Madinah (Medina), marking a new era for the Islamic mission. History then produced a remarkable alignment in 624 CE, the year Heraclius launched his successful counter-offensive into the Persian heartland, the Muslims achieved their first major victory at the Battle of Badr. Just as the Quran had foretold, “the believers rejoiced” on that time, celebrating a double victory for the believers in God over paganism.
